Manage buyer inquiries
When a shopper fills in the inquiry form on a listing's detail page, it becomes a lead — not an email you have to catch and file by hand.
What happens on submit:
1. The buyer enters their name, email, phone, and a short message on the listing detail page and sends it.
2. Turtini records the inquiry against that listing and **resolves the buyer to a contact** in your CRM automatically — reusing an existing contact when the email matches, or creating a new one if it's a first-time buyer. There is never a separate, parallel list of tire-kickers to reconcile.
3. Because the inquiry is tied to a real contact, your follow-up lives in the same place as the rest of your customer relationships. If the buyer is already someone you know, you see that linkage immediately.
Inquiries only open on listings that are Available or Sale pending — a Sold or Draft listing doesn't accept new inquiries. Keep listing statuses current so the form appears exactly when you want buyers reaching out.
