Create an asset listing

Asset Listings is where you manage the high-value physical assets you sell — boats, cars, vessels, RVs, aircraft, equipment, and real property. Each one becomes a browsable card that opens a rich detail page on your public site.

To create a listing:

1. Open Asset Listings (/asset-listings) and press "+ New listing".

2. Pick the **Category** (boat, vessel, car, RV, aircraft, equipment, real estate, or other). The category decides which specification fields you'll fill in below — a boat asks for length, beam, and engine hours; a car asks for mileage, VIN, and transmission.

3. Give it a **Title** (e.g. "2018 Sea Ray Sundancer 320") and an optional subtitle.

4. Set the **Price** and **Price type** — a fixed asking price, "or best offer," auction, or "call for price" (leave the price blank for auction / call).

5. Set the **Status**. A new listing starts as **Draft**, which is private — it never shows on your public site. Flip it to **Available** when you're ready for shoppers to see it; use **Sale pending** and **Sold** as the deal progresses.

6. Press **Create listing**.

Once the listing exists it autosaves as you keep editing — you'll see a "Saving… / Saved" indicator, so you never have to hit a save button. To publish it, drop the Asset Listings block on your site (see "Show your listings on your site") and set the listing's status to Available.
