Rentals and loaners on your account

When you borrow or rent something on property — a towel, a kayak, a beach cabana, a bike — it's checked out to you using your room, cabin, card, or wristband. That's just how the desk finds you; nothing is stored on the card itself.

What you'll be charged:

• A free loan (like a towel) costs nothing to borrow. You're only charged if it isn't returned — the item's replacement value.
• A paid rental has a fee. It might be a flat rate, a per-day rate, or an hourly rate that's added up when you bring the item back.
• If something comes back damaged, staff may add a damage fee, and returning a timed rental late can add an overdue amount.

Every one of these lands on your single on-property account — the same running total your meals and shop purchases go on — so you can see it in real time and settle it once, at check-out. There's no separate ticket to keep and nothing to pay at the rental hut.

If you keep an item past the end of your stay, its replacement value is added to your account automatically at check-out, so return what you borrow before you leave.
