Start a design project

To start a new design project in ArchOS:

1. /archos → "+ Start your first project" (or "+ New project")
2. Fill in:
- Project name
- Client / owner contact info
- Site address
- Fee structure: lump-sum, hourly, or % of construction cost
- Start date and target completion date
3. Click "Create project"

The project starts in Schematic Design with default AIA B101 phase weights (SD 15% / DD 20% / CD 40% / B&N 5% / CA 20%). You can adjust the weights when you author the owner-architect agreement.

Next steps:
- Add sheets to the drawing log (A-101, S-201, M-301…)
- Author CSI MasterFormat spec sections
- Draft and send the B101 owner-architect agreement for signature
- When the contractor is selected, send them the BuildOS project ID — they accept the link from BuildOS, and RFIs / submittals / pay app certifications start flowing here.
