Plan your fleet, reserves and runway

The Capital tab is available to certificated carriers and to airlines still in certification.

• **Aircraft register** -- add each aircraft or engine with its cost, in-service date, useful life and depreciation method. Choose flight hours or cycles as its usage unit to accrue a maintenance reserve at your rate per hour, and enter the next maintenance event (for example an engine shop visit) with its estimated cost and the hours until it is due. The register shows whether the reserve will cover it and what rate would.
• **Unit economics** -- CASM, CASM excluding fuel, RASM and load factor from your flights, with average stage length beside them, and routes with the worst spread listed first.
• **Lease or buy** -- compare buying (down payment, loan, residual) with leasing (rent, deposit, maintenance reserves, return conditions) at your own discount rate, including where the two break even.
• **Liquidity runway** -- cash plus undrawn facilities against your minimum, month by month, with lease payments and pre-delivery payments as scheduled outflows, and a stress case.

These are the same tools any organization gets with the Capital & Sustainability module, included here as part of Airline Operations whether or not that module is on. Depreciation from the register posts through your month-end close.
