Getting started with Agriculture — the farm intelligence OS
Agriculture is a farm intelligence OS for arable farms, CSA operations, vineyards, orchards, and ranches. It manages fields and plots, plantings and crop rotation, scouting and treatments with regulatory-aware REI/PHI windows, sensors and a daily risk feed, harvests with provenance PDFs, soil samples with OCR-extracted nutrients, and direct-to-buyer broadcasts through the Turtini network.
How it fits with the rest of the platform:
• Property handles the physical land record; Agriculture layers fields, crops, sensors on top.
• Contacts holds your CSA members and wholesale buyers — same canonical record as the rest of Turtini.
• Accounting auto-posts AR/AP entries when a harvest broadcast is accepted by a buyer who also runs on Turtini.
• Grants module sources FSA / USDA subsidies; the Subsidies tab here rolls them up.
• Vendor Compliance Registry holds your organic / GAP / FSMA documentation.
Where to start:
Add a field (Fields tab → + New field) — draw the polygon, set acreage, soil type, and irrigation method. Then add the current planting (Plantings tab) so the rest of the system has crop, variety, and planted-date to anchor everything else.
