Add stops, clues, and challenges
Stops are the quest. Each one is a real place with a story, and something to do when you get there.
To add a stop:
1. In the Builder, scroll to **Stops** and press **+ Add stop**.
2. Write the **stop title** and **what is here** — the researched story that belongs to this place. Write it yourself. Quest content is curated on purpose; a wrong date on a historic marker is worse than no marker.
3. Add a **clue** if the visitor has to work out where to go, or a challenge if they have to answer something once they arrive.
4. Set the **latitude and longitude** of the exact spot, and the **arrival radius** — how close someone has to get for the stop to count.
**About the arrival radius.** The minimum is 25 metres and that floor is deliberate. A tighter circle makes people move around hunting for the spot where their phone agrees with you, and that is exactly how somebody ends up stepping into a road. If a stop is hard to pin down, widen the radius rather than tightening it.
**About answers.** When you set an answer for a challenge, it is hashed the moment it is saved and the plain text is never stored. That means nobody — including you, later — can read it back out of the system, and a visitor cannot find it by inspecting the app. Keep your own copy if you need one.
Stops are ordered. Drag order determines the sequence a visitor walks them in.
