Reviewing content reports (admin)
Reports filed against published content land in Admin → Content Reports. The tab badge shows how many are still open.
Each report shows the reason, the reporter's description, the source URL, and a link to the underlying content. For each one you can:
• Mark reviewing — acknowledge you're looking into it (moves it out of the unhandled count without resolving).
• Dismiss — the report was not actionable; the content stays live. If the item was auto-hidden by crossing the report threshold, dismissing restores it.
• Take down — confirms the violation. This stamps the content's moderation status to rejected, which hides it everywhere the display side honors moderation (the same filter the image pipeline uses), resolves any sibling reports against the same item, and publishes a safety signal to the platform's signal bus.
Notes:
• Content that draws several distinct reports is auto-hidden before you act — review promptly so legitimate content isn't left dark longer than necessary.
• Takedown is reversible at the data level (clear the moderation status), but treat it as the considered final decision; use "reviewing" while you investigate.
