AR Invoices (Accounts Receivable)
AR Invoices track money owed to you by customers. The module includes aging analysis and payment recording.
To create an invoice:
1. Go to Accounting → Receivables (AR)
2. Click "+ New Invoice"
3. Enter the customer name, email, invoice number, issue date, and due date
4. Add line items with descriptions and amounts
5. Click "Save Invoice"
Invoice statuses:
• Draft — created but not yet sent
• Sent — delivered to the customer, awaiting payment
• Partial — a payment has been recorded, but balance remains
• Paid — fully paid
• Overdue — past the due date with an outstanding balance
• Voided — cancelled
To record a payment: expand the invoice and enter the payment amount, date, and method. Partial payments update the balance and move the invoice to "Partial" status. Full payment moves it to "Paid".
The summary strip at the top of the tab shows:
• Open invoice count
• Total AR (outstanding balance across all open invoices)
• Overdue amount
Use the Open / All filter to focus on invoices that need attention.
