Granting external accountant access
Org admins can grant an external accountant — such as your CPA or accounting firm — full read and write access to the Accounting module without adding them as an org member.
To grant access:
1. Go to Accounting → Accountants
2. Fill in the accountant's full name, firm name (e.g. "BDO USA"), and email address
3. Click "Grant Access & Send Invite"
What happens next:
• Turtini creates a Turtini account for the accountant if they don't already have one
• They receive a branded email with a set-password link that lands on the Accounting module
• Once they sign in, they can see and edit your entire Accounting module — chart of accounts, journal entries, vendors, bills, AR invoices, reconciliation, budgets, and reports
Accountant access is scoped to accounting data only — they do not become an org member and cannot access CRM, opportunities, contacts, or other modules.
To revoke access:
• Find the accountant in the Accountants list → click "Revoke"
• Their access is removed immediately and they cannot sign back in to your accounting data
Multiple accountants can have access at the same time. Access is tracked with the granting date and the admin who issued it.
