Getting started with Accounting

The Accounting module gives your org a full general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting — all in one place.

To enable Accounting:
1. Go to Settings → Modules
2. Find "Accounting" and toggle it on
3. Navigate to Accounting in the top nav

When you first enable the module, a standard Chart of Accounts is automatically seeded with 37 accounts covering assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. You can add, rename, or deactivate accounts at any time.

The Accounting page uses a two-level layout. The top row groups related workflows; a pill bar below lets you jump to a specific area within the active group.
