Account Succession — designating successors

Account Succession lets you designate one or more successors who automatically receive access to your Turtini org memberships if you become inactive for a set period of time. This ensures your orgs are never locked out if something happens to you.

To set it up:
1. Click your avatar → Settings → Safety
2. Scroll to "Account Succession"
3. Toggle "Enable account succession" on
4. Choose a grace period (30 / 60 / 90 / 180 / 365 days)
5. Click "+ Add Successor" and enter their name and email
6. Add as many successors as you need
7. Click "Save Succession Settings"

If you've already added emergency contacts or travel safety contacts, they appear as quick-pick buttons when adding a successor — click their name to auto-fill the form.

How it works:
• Turtini checks daily for accounts with succession enabled
• If you haven't logged in for longer than your grace period, succession triggers for all designated successors
• Each successor receives an email with invitations to every org you belong to
• You receive a 7-day warning email before succession triggers, so you can log in to reset the clock

Once triggered, the triggered date is shown in your succession settings. Successors must accept each org invitation individually.

Successors are not given your password or direct account access — they receive fresh org invitations as new members.
