Working with accounts (CRM)

Accounts are the foundational CRM record — every company, customer, or partner organization you do business with lives here. Opportunities, contacts, contracts, quotes, projects, invoices, and events all link to an Account so the full relationship history flows into one timeline.

To create an account:
1. /accounts → + New account → fill in name, industry, website, primary contact info
2. Save — the account appears in the list, with stub tabs for the linked records that will accumulate

Shared accounts:
You can share an account read-only with another org (e.g., a partner org you co-sell with) by adding their org id to "Shared with" on the account detail. Both orgs see the same timeline; only the owning org can edit fields. Useful for channel + alliance plays.

Notes and activity:
Every interaction (call notes, meetings, doc uploads, quote sent, invoice paid) lands on the account timeline. Drop quick notes via the Notes panel; Wally can summarize the most recent activity on demand.
